The customization options are good, the presentation is clean with all the information you might want to know about the weather at your location or any city. Nicely lives in your top bar.

A terrific daily/hourly weather summary including precipation forecasts (When will the rain stop) based on your location. The data is from forecast.io, which aggregates data from many weather forecasters including Environment Canada. It’s one of the better weather sources for Canadian weather given that Weather Network and Environment Canada raw data are generally not available in app form.

Powered by the forecast.io API, Forecast Bar is great at hyper-local, short-term forecasts. When you click the status bar icon, you’ll see a quick overview of your current weather, including a graph of expected temps and precipitation over the next eight hours, as well as a forecast for the next five days. Click the current weather graphic and you’ll get even more detail, including windspeeds, humidity, barometric pressure and sunrise/sunset times. So far, my only complaint would be how changing the measurement units to metric changes everything but the wind speed - it’s still listed in MPH. That’s not a huge deal, since I’m never concerned with exact wind speeds, but it’s a little thing they should fix.

It’s a nice, fluid and well done weather app. Only missing so far: rain precipitation (snow, maybe, but we won’t have any until november), so, how many mm of rain will we have, daily/hourly. Well, there none in Canada. As I use a lot the weather since I do a lot of outdoor sports and active transportation, this is a kind of information I need. « heavy, medium, light rain » isn’t usefull at all!

I have long used the forecast.io website for it’s excellent infomation, and long wished to have a menubar style app that is powered by it. In terms of design, scope of information and quality of app, this one is outstanding, I can’t really think of anything that I don’t like about this app. It is visually customisable to a beuatiful and amazing degree, the nicest touch and something I am very greatfull to the developer for. Well worth the buy!

Working great, is very accurate for the GTA area.

Terrific app that is very accurate and on the nose, better than most local weather reports. Constantly updated. Honestly, if you’D asked me if I would ever pay for a weather app I would have laughed in your face. This one is absolutely worth the money. If you are in broadcasting, it’s essential.

I have the Netatmo weather station, so it is easy to see if Forecast Bars temperature is accurate or not. And, it is very close. The default one-hour update seems good enough. Good user interface. I can add multiple locations without problems. Everything is easy to understand. No reliability issues for the app.

Very neat and tidy, easy access from the menu bar, it is the first thing I look at each whn I sit down to work. Forescasts are as accurate as a weather forecast can be!

Finally… a weather app that’s graphically clean, easy to understand, is automatically in celsius if you’re in Canada, and is very customizable. I’ve tried lots… this is my favourite so far. Well done. The only gripe is a minor one and it isn’t going to affect my rating… pretty expensive if you want 15 minute updates. I realize it’s a one off charge but still...

Works for canadian cities

I have tried many weather APP’S and have always eventually removed them from my computer. This APP is an amazing creation I keep it updated and I use it everyday. I would recommend this APP…..big time!!!! I always look forward to the next update……great job!!
