This is it. Plenty of details, or a summary - whatever you feel like. Out of the way, and up front when you want it. I don’t like subscriptions, but this works fine without one (for most folks). Simply, the best.

What a great app—right until it sends you pop-up ads (reminding you that it’s also available for TV and iOS). After paying for a subscription, and then an extra subscription, I shouldn’t be subjected to the Windows 95 business model.
I have been a devotee of a weather app that used to “chirp” for me whenever there was a severe weather alert. However, with it becoming obsolete and then finally coming back, it is still missing. As for Forecast Bar, it is absolutely fantastic! I love the active icons and the condensed feel which I need on my laptop, however, as I have mentioned, a “chirp” feature would be amazing and send it over the top in quality. I find this to be an essential feature as a mother and someone who spends a lot of time on my laptop. If I am out of the room I can hear the “chirp” to let me know that I need to pay attention to the weather. This is essential guys! I used to live in Delaware through two hurricanes/superstorms and a few tornado warnings. With my previous weather app, it was a life saver. Forecast Bar can be like that app used to be! Come on! What’s stopping you? You can make it a thunder sound if you want…just make it! Anyway, what I appreciate currently are Forecast Bar’s notifications about the impending weather: snow, rain, sleet, thunderstorm, etc. It has been fairly accurate but as I said, a “chirp” feature would make it feel like a million bucks. :D
